Lord Saneeswara (Planet SATURN), the single most important planetary deity of The Hindus

Blessings of Lord Sri Krishna - A remedy for saturn related problems such as Sade Sathi (7 and 1/2 years), Sani Maha Dasa & Sani in Ashtama position

Persons who are interested in getting relief from saturn related problems such as Sade Sathi (7 and 1/2 years), Sani Maha Dasa & Sani in Ashtama position should offer sincere, loving and regular prayers to Lord Sri Krishna. Persons who are suffering from a bad position of Saturn in their horoscope such as Sade Sathi (saturn transit for 7 and a 1/2 years), Sani in Ashtama position etc, the should visit Thirunaraiyur (Nachiar Koil), which is at a distance of 8 kms from Kumbakonam in Tamil Nadu and offer worship at Sri Parvadhavardhini Samedha Sri Ramanathaswamy temple and take bath in the Temple Pond known as Rama Theertham and worship Lord Shaneeswara along with his 2 wives Mandhadevi and Jyeshtadevi (also called as Neeladevi) and his 2 sons Maandhi and Kuligan.

Acoording to the Sthalapuranam, Lord Sri Rama and Anjaneya, during their return from Lanka to Ayudhya, visited this temple.

In addition they should light a lamp with gingelly seeds, tied in a new cloth and kept in gingelly oil in front of Lord Shani Bhagwan. Other pooja vidhis and pariharas can be learned in the temple. It is especially beneficial to visit the temple on Saturdays and perform the pariharas.

Thirunaraiyur is a Parihara Sthalam for Shani Bhagwan.

A person who desires to be free from all diseases, be successful in career and lead a happy, healthy and prosperous life and achieve victory over their enemies in just, truthful and straight forward without cheating, they should go to Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu, South India take bath in Agni Theertha and offer worship to Lord Surya by chanting the Sri Aditya Hrudayam at least 12 times facing the sea shore.  Agni Theertha in Rameswaram is one of the holiest places in India. 

This chanting should preferably done on a Sunday, as it is the coveted day of worship for Lord Surya. After this they should go to Lord Ramanathaswamy temple, take bath in all the 22 teerthas and offer worship to the Lord and Goddess. The temple is revered as one of the 12 Jyothirlinga temples.

Sri Aditya Hridayam was first recited for the benefit of Lord Rama by the great Sage Agasthya (the foremost and most revered Siddha). 

The Adityta-Hridayam Hymn is part of the Yuddha Kanda of Valmiki Ramayana (the chapter ofwar) and contains 31 slokas.
