Persons who are having persistent eye problems, those who are about to undergo eye surgery and those whose eye sight has deteriorated very much, they should visit Sri Varadarajar Temple in the temple town Kancheepuram (located about 75 kms from Chennai in Tamil Nadu, South India) and chant the Sri Varadaraja Sthavam, a collection of Slokas/ Songs composed by Sri Appayya Deekshidar.
This parihara has been suggested and advised by the Greatest Vaishnavite Saint Sri Ramanujar. It is especially beneficial if this collection of Slokas/Songs are recited at the temple itself.
