This parayan should be started preferably during Brahma Muhurtha time (4.00AM to 6.00AM) on Tuesday, which is the favourite day for Lord Muruga.

After chanting the mantra 1008 times, it is preferable to offer sweetened milk (milk sweetened with crystallised sugar candy) mixed with kumkumapoo (Pure Kashmiri Red Saffron powder) as prasad to Lord Muruga. All your wishes will come true.
