People interested in avoiding the cycle of birth and death, they should ..............

Persons who are interested in avoiding the cyle of birth and death should with absolute sincerity, self belief, personal cleanliness & mental purity and love and affection towards Goddess Parvathi (the divine consort of Lord Shiva) chant the 8th Sloka of Soundarya Lahari composed by Sri Adi Shankara 108 times, during Brahma Muhurtha time (4.00AM to 6.00AM).

They should start the parayan on Fridays to obtain the grace of the goddess and continue the practice. Devotees are advised to seek the blessings and instructions of a learned Acharya about the methods and practices to be followed before and after chanting the mantra, as this is a very powerful mantra practice.

Soundarya Lahari comprises of 100 stanzas, with the first 41 stanzas called as Ananada Lahari, reported to have been composed and rendered by Lord Shiva himself and inscribed by Lord Ganesha on Mount Meru. The second part of 59 stanzas have been composed by Sri Adi Shankara.

Let the supreme lord’s blessings bring abundant fruits of peace, health, wealth, prosperity, serenity, divinity and spirituality for you and your family.
