The stothra parayan process is divided into 3 parts, as the sthothra contains 2 parts, Narayana Hrudayam and Lakshmi Hrudayam. It is told by learned scholars that the proper method of reading it is to first recite the Narayana Hrudayam, then Lakshmi Hrudayam and then again Narayana Hrudayam.
It is suggested that the parayana method should be clarified and chanted as per the instructions and blessings of a learned Vedic scholar.
